Dacotah Prairie Museum

“Preserving Art… Preserving History” Art Restoration Fundraiser for “Brown County Trailblazers” now on display on the Prairie Landing through May.
Estimated need: $7,000-10,000 for art restoration.
Three portraits in need of professional repair; Mr. Charles Howard of Howard & Hedger Real Estate company and co-donor of the land for the Howard Hedger elementary school; Mr. P.T. Spaulding, who along with his father, started Spaulding Motors and had the first Ford dealership in Aberdeen in 1909; and Governor Ralph Herseth, born in Houghton, SD and our 21st governor of South Dakota. All three portraits are in need of repair and your donation will help the Museum preserve them long into the future. Help us save our history!
